Creating Gifted Children Privacy Policy

Because it is my business and livelihood to care for children, I am highly aware of how vulnerable a family's information can be.   This notice discloses the privacy practices for Creating Gifted Children. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this business and website or any personally identifiable information on my social media sites (currently facebook and instagram). 

 Information Collection, Use, and Sharing 

I am the sole owner of the personally identifiable information collected on this site. I only collect information that you voluntarily give via my contact form (that is, name, e-mail address, and message you send). I will not sell, share or rent this information to anyone, even to employees unless absolutely necessary for the function of their job.  I keep all enrollment data secure and away from prying eyes. I do not even use automated computer systems or online services. I do not share my students' information with other families nor my own families, friends, or acquaintances.

 I will only use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted me. If you choose to enroll your child or children in my school, I may contact you from time to time to notify you of activities, policy updates, holiday greetings, or other subjects related to your child's enrollment or attendance at my school.

I absolutely do not share your information with any third party. 

Cookies

This site uses cookies to track which pages are viewed the most and to let me know how long or short a time it takes for a page to display. This information helps me keep my site functioning properly and lets me know which pages are most interesting to visitors. No personally idenitfiable information is saved, stored, or tracked.

Photographs

Any photographs of my school or my students are displayed by permission only, including those posted on social media. I personally review and edit, or direct to be edited, each image for appropriate content. I use photos of present and past students to illustrate the quality and characteristics of my school. All parents are presented with a model release upon enrollment of their child/children, granting me specific permission to publish photos on on my public-facing pages. 

I do not, and will not, sell or share any photos to any third party, nor allow the use of any of the photos for any purpose beyond the presentation of Creating Gifted Children as a fun, safe and delightful child care environment.

 Your Access To and Control Over Information 

You may opt out of any future contacts from CGC at any time. You can also do the following at any time by contacting me via the email address or phone number given on our website: 

 See what data I have about you, if any. 

 Change/correct any data I have about you. 

 Request any data I have about you  be deleted. 

 Express any concern you have about  use of your data.  

 Security 

I take precautions to protect your information. When you submit your information via the website, it is protected both online and offline. 

Presently, I only collect sensitive information (such as credit card data) via personal contact; that is, face-to-face or over the phone. I do not store that information in a database, or even keep it beyond what is necessary for billing or payment. Additionally, only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
